Several Calmar people attended the funeral services of Mrs. John Hurley at Fort Atkinson on the 23d inst, Rev C. A. Parkin officiating. Mrs. Hurley died at the home of her son, John Hurley, Jr., on the 21st inst. After the services at the Fort the body was taken to Waucoma for interment and laid beside that of the husband who died a year ago last fall. Many old friends of the family attended the funeral, and all the children except Jesse, now residing in Dakota, were present.
