—Ed. Paine and daughter Ruth and H. J. Jennisch and wife went to Hawkeye yesterday to attend the funeral of Mrs. Nick Jacobs. Rev. M. Willett will conduct the funeral services which will be held this afternoon at one o'clock.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Julia (Jennisch) Jacobs who was born July 22, 1836. She is buried in Hawkeye Cemetery.
