Mark Antweine is Killed in Action

Washington, Nov 25, -- Word of the death of another soldier boy from our little town came in a telegram from the war department Saturday to Mrs. Vern Antweine announcing the death of her son, Mark of the 68th infantry who was killed in France. Mark enlisted with the regular army two years ago in December and was stationed for over one and half years in Texas, going to New York he sailed for France, Sept, 15.
