OELWEIN GIRL DROPS DEAD.

Miss Ethel Hillman was on her way home from school, last evening about four o'clock, and was instantly stricken down with heart failure. Mail Carrier Rathbun was coming up Second Ave. and seeing the child fall, hastened to her and found her dead. With the aid of W.D. Tift she was carried to A.J. Anders house, and there hot water and other remedies were applied, but to no avail. Dr. Dole was called but she was beyond any medical assistance. She was fourteen years old and was a member of the seventh grade and an exceptionally bright, intelligent girl. She was apparently strong and he healthy, although of a sensitive nature. She was a regular attendant of the Methodist church and Sunday school and will be greatly missed by many people, both old and young, and condolence is extended to the bereaved parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Hillman. Oelwein Record.
