We heard on Sunday with sorrow of the death of an old friend, the widow Cave, living in Westfield township, and yesterday of the death of Mrs. Edwin Ash, who has for a long time been a patient and hopeless sufferer. Two years ago she was thrown from a wagon while returning from camp-meeting, from which she never recovered, and to which her long illness was traceable. Her maiden name was Matilda Ann Cave; born in Kentucky in 1830; married in 1845, and the mother of seven children. Both were estimable, home loving and religious women, lovely and pleasant in their lives, and in death are not divided. The neighborhood in which they lived so long will feel their loss, as well as friends and relatives. The interment of each was in West Union.
