Oelwein, Ia. Nov. 5 – Special: Last services were held Thursday afternoon for Mrs. Oscar N. Myers, nee Leona R. Payne, with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery. She was the oldest daughter of Mrs. Hattie Payne and was born Feb. 10, 1899, at Webster, S. Dak., and died Monday morning. She was married to Mr. Myers at Anoka, Minn., on Nov. 3, 1930. To this union a daughter, Ida Mae, was born Oct. 22, 1931. Besides her husband and baby daughter she leaves an adopted son, Eugene LeRoy Payne, her mother Mrs. Hattie Payne, there brothers, Arlo of Minneapolis and W. H. and Glenn of Oelwein, and one sister, Mrs. Walter Daniels of Anoka, Minn.
