Dunham's Grove.
Last Wednesday occurred the death of Mrs. Mathews. She was an old resident of the community and eighty years of age. Rev. Will conducted the funeral services and she was laid to rest in the Dunham Grove cemetery

Transcriber note: death occurred on 10 May 1899. Mrs. Mathews was born Harriett Newton Carpenter, daughter of Jasper & Harriet Persis (Newton) Carpenter 18 Jun 1819. Harriett was the wife of Hiram J. Mathews.
