ULA DEUEL RITES CONDUCTED RECENTLY

A. Deuel, 79, Waterloo, died Monday night, Sept. 25, at Covenant Medical Center of injuries sustained in an automobile accident She was born June 10, 1910, in West Union, the daughter of Ferdinand & Iza (Truman) Bigelow, and married Francis R. Deuel July 5, 1927, in Elkader.

Services were held Thursday, Sept 28, at Ascension Lutheran Church and burial was in County Corners Cemetery, Strawberry Point.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Mary Lou Everman, Washburn, and Virginia Weldon, Cedar Falls; three sons, James, Des Moines; Fred, Virginia Beach, Va, and a grandson whom they adopted, Terry Deuel, Waterloo; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; twin sister, Una Mickey, Cedar Falls; two half brothers, Kenneth Bigelow, Cedar Falls, and Lyle Bigelow, Woodstock, 111., and two half sisters, Marjorie Maisenbach, Eureka, Calif., and Irma Thorpe, DeWitt.

Preceding her in death were a granddaughter and a great-granddaughter.
