WAUCOMAMonday evening, while in good health and in good spirits, J.J. Aman was walking homeward over the r. r. track. When on the bridge he too late saw the freight train coming around the curve and near him. He had almost crossed when he was struck by the engine and almost instantly killed. He was dragged to the center of the bridge when he dropped to the bottom of the ravine. Dr. Dodd was at once called, but he was dead when first seen. His neck was broken, also his limbs. It is a terrible blow to his family and friends. Mr. Aman was a good and kind man, well known and respected, took a lively interest in affairs and will be missed. He was 77 years old, was an old resident in Ills, till several years ago when he came here, bought a farm, and has since resided in Waucoma. A heartfelt sympathy is extended to the bereavied.
