William Richard Canine, oldest son of Martin and Emma A. Canine born 06 Sep 1874 in Scott Twp, Fayette County, Iowa, southwest of Brush Creek (now Arlington) Came to town with his parents as a young man.

Married 15 Nov 1916 at Manchester to Rose A. Moser; two children, one proceeded him in death at West Union on 02 July 1921.

Also Proceeded in death by his parents. Died at the home of his brothers on 14 Oct 1936 after a lingering illness.

Aged 62 ys, 1 mo, 8 ds.

Survived by wife and daughter Maxine. Also nephew Donald Derr who made his home with them, sister Mrs. Anna A. Poor of Wadena; brothers James H. and John F. of Arlington

Interment in Taylorsville Cemetery
