Funeral services for William A. Reinking, 76, of Westgate were held at St. Peter's Lutheran church in Westgate July 12. Burial was in St. Peter's cemetery.

Mr. Reinking died July 9 in the Summner hospital. He was born Aug. 18, 1899 in Lowden the son of Anton and Mary Schwier Reinking. He married Selma Bender March 30, 1921 at Westgate.

Mr. Reinking was a retired farmer and a member of St. Peter's Lutheran church.

Survivors include his wife; 2 sons, Robert of Hawkeye and Lorenz of Sumner; 2 daughters, Mrs. Allen (Wilma) Buhr of Sumner and Mrs. Marvin (Margaret) Seegers of Westgate; 3 sisters, Mrs. Harry (Anna) Lett of Wilton, Mrs. Ed (Emma) Berghoefer of Hampton and Mrs. Raymond (Lily) Iserhott of New Liberty; and 2 brothers, Henry of Oelwein and Walter of Waverly. He was preceded in death by his parents and by 3 sisters, Alma, Minnie and Amanda.
