CHARLES PROCTOR
Alpha, Ia. Oct. 13. – SPECIAL: Charles Proctor died at his home in Alpha at midnight, Friday night, at the age of 84. He had been ill for about a year, and for the past four months, had been totally blind. Since the death of his wife, six years ago, he had made his home with his children, and at the present time, was living with his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Savage.
He is survived by three sons, George, Muskogee, Okla.; Robert and Ralph, Alpha; three daughters, Mrs. Viola Chicken, West Union; Mrs. Prudence Savage, Alpha; and Miss Florence Proctor, Waterloo; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
