Hawkeye, Ia. – Services for Paul Engelke, 67, who died Saturday morning will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Trinity Lutheran Church with the Rev. E. W. Kraemer, pastor, officiating and burial in thee Hawkeye Cemetery.
Engelken was born June 9, 1882 at Monroe, Wis., the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Engelke. He had been working as a barber here since 1908. In 1909, he married Elizabeth Gipper. She died in 1923. He married Mrs. Anna Fryburg in 1932.
Besides his wife he is survived by two daughters by the first marriage, Mrs. Herbert Platte, of Sumner, and Mrs. Frederick Boettcher, of Waverly; two sisters, Mrs. Ben Heinmiller, of Hawkeye, and Mrs. Irvin Graf, of Elgin, Ill., and a brother, the Rev. William, of Tipton.
