Fayette, Ia. – Services for Arthur M. Doughty, 79, who died Saturday morning of a heart attack, were scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday at the Belles Funeral Home.

Doughty was born in Fayette County and spent his entire lifetime in this area. He married Clara Prideaux, of Arlington. He was a member of the Masonic Order and Methodist Church.

Besides his wife he is survived by three sons, Mervin of Fayette, Paul of Oelwein, and John, of Sycamore, Ill., and a daughter, Mrs. Beth Mikel, of near Webster City.
