Hawkeye, Ia., - Special: Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the M. E. Church for Elaine Elinore McIntrye, two year daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Milton McIntrye, farmers living north of here.

The Rev. C. Dana Boggie, pastor, officiated and burial was in Oakland Cemetery. The pallbearers were: Doris Homewood, Eva Grimm, Margaret Spence, Elinore O’Day, Lorraine Craven, and Virginia Trudo.

Elaine died Saturday at the West Union Hospital from burns accidentally received when she fell into a pail of scalding water at her home last Tuesday.

Besides her parents, she leaves, two sisters; Evelyn and Marcella: and her grandfather, Frank Smith of Hawkeye.
