WEST UNION, Ia. – Services for Marine Corporal Russell F. McNulty who was killed in action in Korea Dec. 10, 1950 will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Holy Name Catholic Church. The Rev. F. L. Cooney will officiate. Burial will be made in Mt. Calvary Cemetery with graveside rite conducted by the American Legion Post here. Several Marines friends and classmates of Cpl. McNulty served as pallbearers. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Friday at the Burnham Wood Funeral Home.

Cpl. McNulty was born Feb. 18, 1925, in Melvin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Basil E. McNulty. The family moved to West Union where he graduated from high school in 1943, he enlisted in the Marines Nov. 1, 1948. He died Dec. 1, 1950 while at Hangarian, Korea, and was temporarily buried at Hungnam, Korea.

M. Sgt. Basil C. McNulty, an older brother will accompany the body from Oakland, Calif.
