West Union, Ia. - Hans. H. “Buck” Frederick, 84, of West Union died Friday morning October 17, 1986, at Lutheran Hospital, La Crosse, Wis.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Muehlethaler Funeral Home, Elgin, Iowa where friends may call after 4:30 p.m. Sunday and after 8 a.m. Monday. Burial will be in the Elgin Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his first wife , the former Oral Fritz, in 1946, and his second wife, the former Helen Gruver Dawson, in 1963.

Survivng are his third wife, the former Edna Woodson Tope, a son Roger Frederick of Marion, Ia., a daughter Mrs. Gary (Marvel) Alber of Fayette, Ia.: ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; a brother Harry of Tacoma, Wash. and a sister Mrs. Irvin (Emma) Reuter of Waterloo, Ia.
