HUMMEL, WHEELER, SMITH

Mrs. Len Hummel passed away at the Oelwein hospital Monday morning. She had been in poor health for several months. Funeral services were held Wednesday in the Presbyterian church at Wadena and burial made in the Wadena cemetery.

Volga City - The death of Mrs. Len Hummel, Wadena, occurred Monday at the Oelwein hospital where she had been a patient for some time.

Surviving are her husband, of Wadena, and two daughters, Mrs. Leslie Wheeler, Arlington, and Mrs. Gladys Smith, Fayette, and two grandchildren.

Brief funeral services were held Wednesday at the Gleim funeral home at Arlington, and the body taken to the Presbyterian church at Wadena where services were held.

Mrs. Hummel was quite well known in the Volga community, having resided near here a number of years ago.
