Minnie Rose Butikofer was born to Fred and Rose Frederich Butikofer, February 28, 1900, in Elgin, IA. She was a member of the Apostolic Church.
She was a resident of the Clayton County Car Facility since her mother died in 1951.
Minnie died December 26, 1984, at Central Community Hospital, Elkader. Funeral service was held December 28, at the Apostolic Christian Church with local ministers officiating. Burial was in the Apostolic Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Ben Butikofer, Elmer Butikofer, Harry Butikofer, Albert Butikofer, Bill Butikofer, Norb Butikofer.
Minnie was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather, Jake Butikofer and two brothers: Edward and Walter Butikofer.
Survivors include: two brothers: Fred Butikofer, Elgin, and George Butikofer, West Union; one sister, Mrs. Francis (Rose) West, Elkader.
Muehlethaler Funeral Home, Elgin, was in charge of arrangements.
