DEATH OF LILLIE GRUVER BALDWIN.

Lillie (Gruver) Baldwin daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lew Gruver, was born in St. Joseph, Missouri, in 1909 and died in Iowa City, June 30, at the age of 64.

She came to Elgin, with her parents, as a small child and grew to womanhood here. She was married to Harry Baldwin of Elgin, who preceded her in death. She is survived by one daughter, Donna Marie, Davenport; and four grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Lester Crain, Clermont; and three brother, William, West Union; Robert, Oelwein; and Elmer, Chambersburg, Pa.

Since her husband’s death, she has been employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the University Hospital in Iowa City.

Funeral services were at Iowa City, Tuesday, July 3, at 10:30 a.m. and graveside services at the Elgin Cemetery at 3:30 p.m.
