OELWEIN – Lucille Auresta Proctor, 88, died Wednesday morning, Dec. 10, 2003, at Oelwein Health Care Center after a brief illness. Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday, Christ United Presbyterian Church, by the Rev. Richard Emery. Burial: Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home and after 9:30 a.m. Monday at the church.

Survivors included two sons, Ted of Kahului, Maui, Hawaii and Jon of Indianola; two daughters, Janann Arndt of Oelwein and Denis Frisch of Sumner; two sisters, Clara Long of Ottumwa and Bettye Schwartz of Waco, Texas; and a brother, Richard Turnipseed of Iowa City.

Note: Lucille was born 16 Nov 1915 in Wellman, Iowa to Orestus Arthur Wade and Lavera Adah Messenger. She married Lester Proctor on 31 Aug 1935 in Wellman.
