Allen Imoehl

A funeral mass for Allen R. Imoehl was held Thursday, April 5, 11:00 a.m. in St. Peter's Catholic Church, Clermont. Rev. Paul Otting officiated. Schutte Funeral Service of Clermont was in charge of arrangements. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Allen Roger Imoehl, son of Laverne and Leonilla (Kleve) Imoehl, was born March 22, 1967 at Postville, Iowa. He died April 3, 1990 in the Hospice Unit of Community Memorial Hospital, Postville.

He attended the Valley Schools near Elgin and graduated from the Valley High School in 1985. He received an Associate Degree in Applied Science from Iowa Lakes Community College in May, 1987. During the past summer he was employed as a Crop Specialist for the Clayton County Extension Service.

Preceding him in death were his grandparents: Frank and Angela Imoehl and Arnold and Anna Kleve.

Survivors include his parents: Laverne and Lee Imoehl, rural Elgin; 5 brothers, David, Clermont, Dale and Ronald, Elgin and Randy and Leroy, both of Newton; 5 sisters, Kay (Mrs. Gerry Schmitt), Fort Atkinson, Jeanne (Mrs. Mike Kruckenberg), Postville, Mary (Mrs. Dan Schott), Clermont, Tammy, Cedar Rapids and Tina, Elgin; 3 nieces and nephews; special uncles, aunts, cousins and many friends.

Casket bearers: Dale Imoehl, Randy Imoehl, Brian Moser, Ronnie Imoehl, Leroy Imoehl, Bryon Cowell.
