DIED - Peter Robertson departed this life Monday forenoon, May 1, 1893. He was about his usual duties and at the time was chopping wood, only a little while, when he fell over dead.

The funeral was held at the Presbyterian church, Rev. A. E. Hursh officiating. His wife died about four years ago. Several children survive him. Mr. Robertson was born in Scotland, came to Wis., U. S. A., in 1848, and to Iowa in 1852, living in Banks since, with the exception of one year spent in Sumner. Peter, as we all familiarly called him was a good and upright citizen, and many old residents will regret his demise.
