On Tuesday March 19, 1907, Geo. W. Eilery died. He was sick less than two weeks with pneumonia. The funeral services were conducted by Dr. F. H. Sanderson at the home Thursday afternoon at 2:45 and the remains were sent to Skaneteles, New York, for burial in the Eilery burying ground beside those of the other members of the family. Mr. Eilery was 66 years old last November, he came to Fayette in March 1902 and continued to live here up to the time of his death. He leaves a wife and son and two brothers, Henry of Carpenteria, Cal., and Frank of Rochester, N. Y. Mr. Eilery was a kind and loving husband and father, a good citizen and was respected by all who knew him.
