Elgin Echo, Thur., 25 Dec. 1930.

Frank Kimpson of Fayette, brother of Richard and Thomas Kimpson and Mrs. Nancy Gehring of Elgin, died at his home Sunday morning. The funeral is being held today at 1:30 at the Illyria church and burial will be made in the cemetery there. Mr. Kimpson was raised in the Illyria community and is well known to all older residents. His obituary will appear next week.

There is an error in another page of the Echo where it tells of his funeral at Fayette Sunday.

NOTE: I did not get a search return for his name for the next two weeks of the paper. Those issues may not have been available to search. Although this issue of the paper carries an issue day of Thursday it was actually issued on Wednesday because of the holiday. The same is true of the next issue of the paper.
