Erick Jacobson passed away to the home where sorrows will be no more, at Clermont, Iowa, the 23rd day of July, 1903, after an illness of several months, being confined to his bed only two weeks.

Mr. Jacobson was born at Ulsager, Norway, December 31, 1831. He came with his family to America in 1862. He was the father of 10 children, eight of whom are left to mourn their loss, two children and his wife having preceded him to the great unknown. Those remaining are O. E. and Gus E. Jacobson of Nora Springs, Iowa, Jacob Jacobson of Fon Du Lac, Wis., John Jacobson of Clermont, Mrs. O. E. Olson, Mrs. G. L. Ostlie, Mrs. John Peterson and Mrs. Nels Larson of Clermont township.

All were present at the burial except O. E. Jacobson of Nora Springs.
