Funeral services for Gladys Davis will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Randalia Methodist Church, with burial in Grandview Cemetery, Fayette.

Friends may call after 3 p.m. January 2, at Burnard-Wood Funeral Home, West Union.
Mrs. Davis, 88 dies Saturday night, Dec. 27,1997, at the North Iowa Mercy Health Center in Mason City after a short illness.

She was born September 20, 1909, in Volga, the daughter of Joseph and Emma (Chapman)Fox. She married Parker C. Davis on Aug. 14,1929, in Arlington.

Survivors include two sons, Daryl(Diane)of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Cordon (Elaine) of Fayette;one daughter,Joan (Harold)Kobriger of Forest city; 13 grandchildren;eighth great-grandchildren;and one brother, Dale Fox of Waterloo.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Parker in 1986;and one granddaughter.
