Elgin Echo, Thursday, 10 Septenber 1908.

Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Monnahan have the sympathy of this community in their hour of bereavement. Thursday morning last at 10 o'clock their little son, Charles Lester, passed away. Obstruction of the bowels was the cause of death. The little one lacked one day of being nine months old and was the only child. The funeral occurred Saturday at Wadena, where short services were held in the Catholic cemetery at that place. The parents feel their loss keenly as the child had been a great joy in the home during his short life.
