Elgin Echo, Thursday, 17 October 1918.

Mrs. Harry Becker of Clermont passed away Thursday morning. She had been ill with influenza and reports from her bedside the last couple of days were not of an encouraging nature. Her death brings sorrow to the many of our town who knew her. At the time of the lady's death her husband and little son were sick with the same disease and unable to go to her bedside.
