Elgin Echo, Thur., 25 Oct. 1917.

The little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Randall of West Union met with a fatal accident while skating with roller skates on the cement walk Saturday. She fell backward on the walk and thus received injuries from which she died Sunday morning. The family have the sympathy of their Elgin friends in the loss of their daughter.
