Randy R. Robinson, 61 of Oelwein, Iowa died Friday, October 11, 2013 at the Dennis & Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha, Iowa.

Randy was born on April 28, 1952, in Manchester, Iowa the son of Lloyd J. and Yvonne J. (Baskerville) Robinson. He was raised in the Dundee, Iowa area, and attended the Starmont Schools. Following his schooling Randy became employed with the Mental Health Institute in Independence, Iowa as a Residential Treatment Worker for 30 years.

He is survived by a daughter; Rana R. (Jacob) Schulmeister, Urbana, IA., two grandchildren, three sisters; Shirley Hamlett, Nancy (Charles) Lahr, Becky Robinson, and three brothers; Larry Robinson, Greg Robinson, and Danny Robinson.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, October 26, 2013 at the Oak Grove Christian Church, 6101 32nd Ave., Shellsburg, IA., with Ryan Koehn officiating. Private Inurnment Services were held at the Floral Hills Cemetery, Hazelton, Iowa. The Reiff Funeral Home & Crematory of Independence, Iowa is assisting the family with the arrangements.
