Hannah Rogers, whose maiden name was Hannah E. Chambers, was born in Erie county, New York, November 1, 1827, and died November 18, 1906, at the home of L. J. Randall in West Union. In the year 1841 she was married to Mr. Rogers but was soon left a widow. Mrs. Rogers will be remembered by many of our citizens as she at one time resided here. The remains were brought to this city Tuesday and after appropriate remarks by Rev. Stoeckmann the body was laid to rest in the cemetery.
