Elgin Echo, Thursday, 29 August 1912.

Warren S. Herriman, whose sudden death has so startled this community and caused his home gathering of relatives and friends, was born January 27, 1862, at the parental home of his father, one mile east of town, and died at his father's home at this place Monday evening August 19, 1912.
