Mrs. Roxena Smith died at her home in West Union Sunday evening at 6 o'clock after a long, lingering illness. She was the mother of F. M. Smith of our town and was an aged and respected lady. Her funeral was held Tuesday afternoon and her six sons were the pall bearers who carried the loved form to its final resting place. Those who attended the funeral from here were Frank Smith, wife and two daughters, Blanche and Lee, T. J. Capper, John Falb and others.
