In 1926 the family moved to the Marquette/McGregor area where they farmed with another family. They moved several times before ending up in the Clermont/Elgin area. Jorris attended schools in Marquette and Farmersburg and graduated from Clermont High School in 1941.

Thanks to Father Rausch for his visits which were so comforting to Jorris and his family. And lastly, the family could not have honored Jorris’ last wish to remain at home without the excellent care and deep compassion of Palmer Hospice. For that we are eternally grateful.
