Postville Review, Saturday, 18 August 1877. In a letter to the paper from their Clermont correspondent dated 14 August 1877.

August 8th, Mrs. Henry Fry, of Clayton County, after a long illness died of dropsy. Mrs. Fry was once a resident of Clermont, but about six years ago she married H. Fry, of Clayton County, where she resided until her death. Her father, mother, brothers and sisters still live in Clermont. Her death was a sad blow to them all.
