A sad accident occurred near Elgin Tuesday that resulted in the death of Aden Meberry, a young man 20 years of age, says the Clermont Enterprise. He was carrying slabs from a sawmill when he tripped and fell into the saw. One arm and a leg were severed from his body and the unfortunate lad died from loss of blood, retaining consciousness for over half an hour following the accident.
