DIED- At the residence of her father, in Illyria township, Fayette Co., Iowa, Oct. 11th, 1873, Miss E. J. Stowell, oldest daughter of D. W. and A. G. Stowell, aged 21 years, 1 month and 11 days.

The deceased had been a sufferer from consumption for over two years, but suffered quietly and departed in peace, trusting in Jesus. The funeral services were conducted at Elgin, Iowa, by Rev. Fathergill, of Highland township.
