Postville Review, Sat., 29 Dec. 1894.

DIED- At his home in Postville, on Saturday, Dec. 22, 1894, of tubercular consumption, the result of an attack of pneumonia which developed as a complication in course of a severe attack of typhoid fever, William Horrigan, in the 16th year of his age. He has been sick since the early part of September. He was buried at Clermont on Monday. Sympathy is extended to mourning friends.

Note: I could find no Horrigan burials in either Allamakee of Fayette counties, nor further mentions of the Horrigan surname in the press of the time. A burial in Fayette county, with dates that fit and a similar sounding of the surname is: Willie Horgan 1879 - 1894, in St. Peter's Catholic cemetery, with a few other Horgan burials. A photo of their various gravestones can be found on the Iowa Gravestone Photos Project. Researchers will need to verify if the William in the article above is the Willie in the cemetery, and any other relationships.
