Miss Eva Leaman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marshal Leaman (members of the U. B. Church at Murphy) died at her parents home Sunday at; 1.30 p. m. of spinal meningitis which followed her illness of measels.
Funeral services were held at the home Tuesday, 10 a. m. and interment made in Murphy cemetery, Rev. McKelvery officiating.
Eva was one of those innocent and angel like little girls. Ever kind and helpful to her younger sister [Alice] who is so heart broken over Eva's decease.
Many friends and all of Murphy extend sympathy and prayers.
It is another rose plucked in its bad and translated to the better kingdom ever to bloom in praise and adoration for the Heavenly Home.
Eva was 10 years, 10 months and 2 days old.
