Private Graveside Services Held For Hawkeye Man

Private graveside services for Kevin D. Bennett, 34, of Hawkeye, Tuesday, will be in Elgin cemetery at a later date. Becker-Milnes Funeral Home of Hawkeye was in charge of arrangements.

He was preceded in death by his father, Doyle Bennett in 1985.

He was employed as a semi-driver for Zephyr Transport Inc., Waterloo, and has served in the United States Army.

Survivors include his mother, Audrey Bennett of Hawkeye; a son, Lucas at home; a daughter, Tata Bennett of Decorah; 3 brothers, Marvin of Carney, Okla., Robert of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Kirk of Waukon; and 4 sisters, Beverly Baker of Clermont, Barbara Hyde of Austin, Texas, Betty Miller of Independence and Rebecca Bennett of Hawkeye.
