SERVICES WEDNESDAY FOR MRS. H. R. MORSE

Funeral services for Mrs. H. R. (Thelma) Morse, 46, were held at St. Paul’s Methodist Church in Elgin on Wednesday afternoon, May 16, and burial was made in Pleasant Grove cemetery west of Brainard.

Mrs. Morse died at the Postville hospital Sunday of injuries suffered May 5 when she was gored by a bull on the Morse farm near Castalia.

She was injured internally and her leg was fractured when the bull charged her in a pen inside the barn. Her husband, who had been outside the barn, rescued her.

Mrs. Morse also is survived by three daughters.
