R. Lloyd Young, 64, well-known
local insurance agent, died Tuesday,
at St. Mary's hospital,' Rochester,
Minn.
Funeral services will be held at
2:30 p. m. Thursday, Sept. 25, at
the Presbyterian church, with Dr.
L. W. Hauter officiating. Until
the funeral hour the body will,
lie in state at the Hintz mortuary
Burial is to be in Woodlawn cemetery.
A native of Oelwein, Lloyd
Young was born here July 24,
1888, the son of Robert John
Young and Belle Ross Young. He
had spent his entire life in this
city.
Surviving are his wile Ethel
310 1st Ave. NE; a son, Dr. Robert
C- Young, a Presbyterian minister
in Detroit, Mich.; one granddaughter,
and three grandsons:
and' a sister, Mrs. Jim Wilson of
Cedar Rapids.
