Sandra "Sandy" Elizabeth (Trotter) Reisner, 40, of Harpers Ferry, Iowa, formerly of Maynard, Iowa and Oelwein, Iowa, died Thursday, November 6, 1997 at St. Francis Medical Center in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. Services were held Monday, November 10 at 11 a.m. at Hanson Funeral Home in Waukon, Iowa with the Rev. Lynn Groe officiating. Interment was in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Harpers Ferry, Iowa. Honorary bearers were Cheryl Rummel, Heidi Trotter, Debbie Hannan, Sue Huntley, and Shelly McLaury.

Sandy was born May 30, 1957 in Oelwein to Clyde Trotter, Sr. and Nina (Brynildson) Trotter. Sandy attended Maynard School and graduated in 1975 from Oelwein Community Schools where the majority of her school years were spent. She attended Upper Iowa University for two years. On August 23, 1986 she married Lane Reisner of Oelwein. They later divorced. For the last 10 years, she and her two daughters, had been living in Harpers Ferry, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by a son Jacob Reisner in 1991 and her father Clyde Trotter, Sr. in 1996.

Surviving are her 2 daughters, Caitlin Reisner and Bailey Robinson; her mother Nina Trotter of Harpers Ferry, Iowa and 2 brothers, Charles "Chuck" (Karen) Trotter of Georgetown, Kentucky and Clyde Trotter, Jr. of Harpers
Ferry, Iowa.
