Mrs. Bert Hall 1882-1908

The funeral services for Mrs. Bert
Hall, who passed away Wednesday
evening were held at the house Friday
afternoon, Rev. 'J. J. Tatum officiating.
A large concourse was present
and the floral offerings from her many
friends in the church and shops were
very liberal.
Lorena Marjery Burch was born
October 5, 1882 in this county and has
spent her entire life in or near
Oelwein. She was married October 5
1904 to Bert Hall and to this union
was born one child, a daughter, who
with the husband is left to mourn her
loss. She early united with the Baptist
church and to the time of her
death remained a faithful worker and
a practical Christian. She was of
sunny disposition, always ready to
give aid to the needy and a faithful,
home-loving wife and mother.
Besides the husband and child, her
mother, a brother, Lewis Burch of
Nevis, Minn., two sisters, Mrs. Mattie
Badger and Mrs. Kittie Monnahan,
three half sisters, Mrs. H. Q. Miles,
of Brainard, Minn.. Mrs. A. J. Anders
snd Mrs. Wm. Anders of this city,
and half brother, Jas. Burch. survive
her. The body was taken to
Auburn Saturday morning where
interment will be made.
