Friends of George D. Beighle, age 64, have received word of his death. He died Sunday October 12, 1997 at his home in Highland, California of lung cancer. He was born September 6, 1933 in West Union, Iowa. He grew up in West Union and graduated from the West Union High School in 1951. He had retired from the California Division of Highways. He is survived by his wife Juanita, twin daughters, and two step-children.
