The funeral services of Mrs. Annie A. Fowler were held
from the Hintz Funeral Home, last Saturday afternoon,
Rev. J. B. Ackman of Grace Methodist Church officiating
at the services. Her interment was at the Oakdale
cemetery of Oelwein.
- Mrs. Fowler passed away at the home of her brother,
Mr. P. B. Chase, on First Avenue NW, of Oelwein,
December 22nd, 1932. She was born at New Rochelle,
New York on August 8, 1855. She was the daughter
of Samuel and Angeline C. Chase. She was united in
marriage to Calvin D. Fowler in the year of 1878.
- In 1926 she came to Oelwein and has made her home
with Mr. and Mrs. P. B. Chase, who survive to mourn
the death of her departure. She is also being survived
by her cousins; I. W. Chase of Oelwein, H. A. Chase of
Cleveland, Ohio and Mrs. Will Chase of East Orange, New
Jersey as well as many other relatives and friends.
