Rose, the ten year old daughter of
Robert Maillie and wife, died from an
attack of membraneous croup last
Thursday and Rev. Bethel made a
prayer in the street in front of the
Maillie home Friday afternoon and
burial was made at Greenwood cemetery
near Murphy Chapel. The father
went to Minnesota Tuesday morning
but was brought back by telegram,
but he did not reach here in time to
see his child alive. A sister of the
little girl has been very sick with the
same disease but is recovering.
