Charles Beal died Wednesday afternoon
from the effects of a stroke of
paralysis. He was born in Dixon, Ill.,
in 1856, and about I876 went to Minneapolis
and engaged in the laundry business.
Prior to coming' to Oelwein two
years ago he conducted a laundry in
Sumner, Iowa. He was a hard working
man and has been running a hand
laundry on South Frederick street.
He leaves three children, two daughters
and a son, also several brothers
and sisters. The funeral occurred
Thursday afternoon, Rev. Stark officiating•
Interment took place in Oelwein
cemetery. ]
