..Died at his home in Maynard
May 20th, Mr. Geo. Simpson, aged
63 years. He was born in Scotland in
1830, and came to America in 1841,
and had been a resident of Harlan
township, for 30 years. He leaves a
wife and seven children to mourn the
loss of a devoted husband and loving
father. A large concourse gathered
at the M. E. church Monday afternoon
to pay their last respects to a
kind neighbor and friend. Rev. Goodsell
delivered an address from 2nd
Corinthians, 5th chapter, 1st verse,
after which the remains were interred
beside his first wife.
